We serve Aiken, Graniteville and North Augusta, SC. We are not claiming damage in those towns from this event. This guide is for anyone in our service area who has storm debris now, or who wants a plan for the next storm.
Before You Start Hauling
- Stay safe first. Stay away from downed power lines, and do not climb on a damaged roof or cut a tree that is under tension.
- Photograph the damage. If you plan to file an insurance claim, take photos and notes before moving anything, and ask your insurer what they need.
- Sort the debris. Group limbs and brush, building materials, and anything that needs special handling.
- Pick a size and a delivery day that match when you or your crew can actually load.
What Storm Debris Can Go In
Full lists are on what can you put in a dumpster and the prohibited items page. Household trash, household garbage and municipal solid waste are prohibited, so a storm cleanup rental is for debris, not regular trash.
Sizes and Pricing
| Size | Box Dimensions | Base Price | Included Weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| 12 yard | 12 x 7 x 4 ft | $285 | 2 tons |
| 15 yard | 14 x 7 x 4 ft | $345 | 2.5 tons |
| 17 yard | 16 x 7 x 4 ft | $375 | 3 tons |
Each rental includes 3 days plus 1 dump. Extra days are $25 per day and extra weight is $50 per ton. Wet debris and shingles weigh more than they look, so keep an eye on weight. More detail is in the size guide and cost guide.
Placement When Your Yard Is a Mess
Storm-soaked ground and fallen limbs make placement harder. Our rubber-wheeled dump trailers and careful placement are designed to minimize the risk of driveway damage compared with traditional roll-off containers, though this is not a guarantee. We need at least 12 feet of overhead clearance, so clear or report low or hanging limbs before delivery, and tell us about soft ground. Read more in why driveway-safe dumpster rentals matter.
Getting Ready for the Next Storm
Atlantic hurricane season runs through November 30. A few minutes now helps: walk the yard for dead limbs, know your dumpster size before you need one, and keep our number handy. Our fall cleanup guide and yard and storm cleanup page cover the routine side, and roofing dumpster rental covers shingle jobs.

Yes. Limbs, branches, brush and leaves are accepted yard debris, and yard waste does not need to be bagged. For very large logs or stumps, call (803) 679-8899 first so we can talk through size and weight.
Roof shingles are accepted only up to one-half of the dumpster's capacity by volume, because they are heavy. Call us to plan the right size before you start.
Check with your insurer first. Take photos and notes of the damage before you move or haul anything, and ask what they need from you. We cannot give insurance advice.
Yard debris is bulky but usually light, so a 12 yard (12 x 7 x 4 ft) suits many yard cleanups. Larger jobs, or storm damage combined with fence, siding or roof repair, may call for the 15 yard (14 x 7 x 4 ft) or 17 yard (16 x 7 x 4 ft). Call us if you are unsure.
